Information and Announcements

Attendance

In order for us to perform at our best, attendance at weekly rehearsals is of utmost importance. Section leaders will take weekly attendance and note absences. If you will be absent, please notify your section leader ahead of rehearsal. After three or more unexcused absences, it is at the discretion of the director whether you will be allowed to perform. Dress rehearsal attendance is mandatory unless you have received prior permission from the director to be absent.

Rehearsal Cancellations

If a rehearsal is canceled, you will be notified by email if possible and it will be posted on the website. It will also be on KWWL TV Weather Closings if the cancellation is weather-related. It would be wise to check the website or email before rehearsals in case there is an emergency cancellation.

Pencils

Don’t rely on your memory to keep the notes Ryan gives us in rehearsal; write them down! If you have been absent, get marking from your neighbor or section leader.

Rehearsal Etiquette

Remain quiet. Silence cell phones. Do not talk when Ryan is giving notes or working with another section. Raise your hand if you have a question.

Concert Attire

Unless otherwise specified, our normal concert attire is as follows:

Women: Floor length black dress/skirt OR black dress pants with long sleeved/three-quarter black blouse (shoulders covered). Black shoes

Men: Black business suit or tux; Black bow tie; White shirt; Black shoes and black socks

Everyone: Nothing too shiny or distracting. We want to look like a cohesive group. Please do not wear any fragrances (perfume, scented deodorant, hair products).
